W.I.T. Engineering Week

5th class attended a ‘Structures’ workshop at W.I.T. Engineering Week. They studied bridge design and had to apply the principles to building a bridge of their own.

The strongest (paper) bridge held 114 coins. They learned about arches and built towers as well. The tallest (paper) tower measured 66cm. See some of the photos below.
